Statistics
LiveStatistics
Statistics page: activity, moderation actions, deletions, top users, top violators and period filters.
Tip: change one option at a time and verify the result in the group so false positives are easy to spot.
In short
Statistics is a read-only operational dashboard. It helps administrators understand what happened before they change moderation rules.
How it works
- The selected period defines which stored group events are included.
- Defendy aggregates activity, violations, deleted messages and leading members.
- The resulting cards are read-only and change as new events enter the period.
Set it up step by step
- Open Statistics after at least some real traffic exists.
- Choose the period before comparing sections.
- Use top violators and deletion reasons to decide which filters need tuning.
Every setting explained
Period filter
Default: Current selection.
Controls the date range for all charts and summary cards.
Activity summary
Default: Read-only.
Messages and activity grouped by day.
Top active users
Default: Read-only.
Members with the highest message activity in the selected period.
Top violators
Default: Read-only.
Members with the most moderation events.
Deletions by filter
Default: Read-only.
Which filters removed messages most often.
Practical example
Compare seven and thirty days after changing an anti-spam rule. A drop in violations together with stable activity is more useful than a single large deletion count.
Recommendations
- Statistics does not change moderation behavior by itself.
- Very small groups may show sparse charts; that is normal.
Troubleshooting
- Check that Defendy is still an administrator in the group.
- Refresh the settings panel and make sure you are editing the correct group.
- If a setting is saved but does not work, check the bot permissions in Telegram.
- If you are not sure what happened, open the moderation log.
