Complete Defendy command reference: moderation, warnings, roles, information, settings and AI checks — syntax, aliases and required permissions.
The complete list of Defendy commands. Commands work in a group where the bot has been added as an administrator. For commands that act on a specific message or member, reply to the message in question.
How commands work
- Prefixes. A command can start with
/,!,.,,or;. The Russian keyboard layout is recognized automatically — the bot will understand a command typed by key position. - Reply to a message. Many commands (
/ban,/mute,/warn,/del) apply to the author of the message you replied to. - Name modifiers. Some commands accept a prefix:
d…— perform the action and delete the original message:/dban,/dmute,/dkick,/dwarn.s…— silently, without a bot reply in the chat:/sban,/smute,/sdel,/spurge.t…— with a duration:/tban 1h,/tmute 30m.un…— undo the action:/unban,/unmute,/unwarn.

Access legend
- 🟢 Everyone — available to any member.
- 👤 Members only — members without a role (for example, to report something).
- 🛡 Moderators+ — moderator, administrator, co-founder or owner.
- ⚙️ Administrators+ — administrator and above.
- 👑 Co-founders+ — co-founder and owner.
- ★ Owner — the group owner only.

Moderation

Examples: /tmute 30m flooding, /ban @username advertising, reply to a message + /del.
The exact access is determined by the role's permissions. For example, a ban (/ban) is available from the administrator role, while a warning and a mute are already available to a junior moderator. The full matrix is on the Roles and permissions page.

A user can be specified by replying to a message, via @username, or by numeric ID.

Rules, greetings, filters and punishment settings are easier to change in the Defendy panel — commands are meant for quick actions and forum topics.
Reputation
Available if the reputation module is enabled.

AI spam check
The Beta module. Enabled by an administrator and works within the plan's monthly limit.

Send these directly to the bot, not to a group.

Emoji catalog maintenance commands and the service-only /msg command are restricted to the Defendy owner and intentionally excluded from the user reference.
