Adding the bot to a group

Steps#

1. Open the official bot @defendy_bot.
2. Tap "Add to group" and select the group you need.
3. Make the bot an administrator. Grant only the necessary permissions — see Bot permissions.
4. Open the Defendy panel from Telegram and select the group you added.
5. Enable features one at a time and test each one on sample messages.

Beware of copycat bots#

Fake bots with similar names and avatars show up in Telegram. Add only the official @defendy_bot — follow the link from this site or from a trusted source. Do not grant administrator permissions to a bot whose authenticity you are not sure of.
