AI spam check
BetaAI spam check command
AI spam check settings: enabling the /spam command and using it safely as an assistant.
Updated Jul 21, 2026
Tip: change one option at a time and verify the result in the group so false positives are easy to spot.
In short
Spam check enables a command for AI-assisted analysis. It is intentionally simple: one toggle controls whether the command is available.
How it works
- An administrator replies to a suspicious message with the enabled
/spamcommand. - Defendy sends the relevant content for AI-assisted analysis.
- The result is returned as advice; the administrator still decides what moderation action to take.
Set it up step by step
- Open Defendy in Telegram and choose the group you want to configure.
- Compare the current values with the defaults explained below.
- Change one option at a time; use the least disruptive value that meets your goal.
- Check the result in the group after saving.
Every setting explained
Enable /spam
Default: Off.
Allows administrators to use the /spam command for AI-assisted checks.
Practical example
Use /spam on a borderline promotional message that deterministic filters did not remove. Compare the explanation with group rules; do not automatically ban solely because of the AI result.
Recommendations
- Treat AI output as advisory. Administrators remain responsible for final moderation decisions.
- Do not send secrets or private user data to the command.
Troubleshooting
- Check that Defendy is still an administrator in the group.
- Refresh the settings panel and make sure you are editing the correct group.
- If a setting is saved but does not work, check the bot permissions in Telegram.
- If you are not sure what happened, open the moderation log.
