BetaAI spam check command
Enable /spam, understand who can use it and when the bot automatically removes a message.
The /spam command checks a selected message with AI. It is separate from the automatic text filter.
Before you enable it
When the verdict is spam, Defendy automatically deletes the checked message. The result is not merely advice for an administrator. AI can make mistakes: try the feature in a test group first and explain it to your members.
Enable the command
- Open the Mini App using Settings in your private chat with @defendy_bot.
- Select the group under My groups.
- Open Anti-spam → AI check.
- Turn on the AI-check switch and wait for the save to complete.
Check a message
Reply to a suspicious text message with /spam in the group. Members can use the command; it is not restricted to administrators. Administrator messages are not eligible targets. Sending the command without replying to an eligible message does not start the normal analysis flow.
The message content is sent to the AI service. Do not use passwords, personal documents or other sensitive information as test material.
Management and limitations
/spamon, /spamoff and /spamstatus manage the feature and require permission to manage the bot. Checks depend on the setting, applicable limits and AI-service availability. A visible switch does not guarantee that analysis succeeds during an outage.
If a message is not deleted, check that the feature is enabled, the bot can delete messages and the target is eligible. An absent response does not prove that a message is safe.
